Using Hunch
Accounts & discovery
How companies enter your workspace, how they get qualified, and how activating them works.
How accounts arrive
- Discovery, Hunch finds net-new companies in your ICP that are showing your signals and adds them as
suggested. - Import, paste or upload your own list of companies; these go straight to
active. - Saved searches, a discovery search you save re-runs daily to surface fresh matches.
Qualification & scoring
Each account carries a score and an ICP fit, and is marked qualified or not against your signal rules and firmographics. Qualified accounts surface in your Suggested tab; the strongest are flagged hot.
Activating an account
Activating moves an account from suggested to active. This is the point where it starts costing a credit and enters ongoing monitoring. On activation, Hunch also enriches the company's firmographics.
Only
active accounts count against your plan. You can browse and research a large pool of suggested accounts for free, and spend credits only on the ones you decide to work. What happens once active
Active accounts are continuously monitored for each of your signals. When a new signal is detected, Hunch generates a brief and can send you an alert.
Organizing your list
- Tags, label accounts however you segment them.
- Owners, assign accounts to teammates.
- Export, download your accounts as CSV.
- Send to HubSpot, push single or selected accounts into your CRM.
The signal brief
When a signal fires on an account, the brief includes:
- A headline, the compelling event in a few words.
- A narrative, the facts tied into one story.
- A “why now”, what changed, why to act now, and their likely goal.
- Evidence, dated claims with source links.
- A drafted opener, grounded in your value prop.
