HubSpot

Push signal-qualified accounts into HubSpot as companies, deduped by domain, with their Hunch score and signal context attached.

What it does

  • Creates or updates a HubSpot company for any Hunch account.
  • Dedupes by domain, an existing company is updated, never duplicated.
  • Maps firmographics, name, domain, industry, employee count, city, country, LinkedIn.
  • Writes the signal into custom Hunch Score and Hunch Signal company properties.

Connecting

In Settings → Integrations, click Connect HubSpot and authorize. Hunch stores the connection for your workspace and refreshes access automatically.

Sending accounts

  • Single, open an account and click Send to HubSpot.
  • Bulk, select accounts in the list and use Send to HubSpot in the selection bar.

The Hunch properties

On first push, Hunch creates two custom company properties in a Hunch property group:

  • Hunch Score, a number you can sort and filter company lists by.
  • Hunch Signal, the headline and “why now” narrative.
HubSpot creates the properties automatically, but won't show them on a company record until an admin adds them to a card. In HubSpot go to Settings → Objects → Companies → Record customization (or edit the About / Key information card on any company) and add the two Hunch properties. You can also add Hunch Score as a column to sort and filter company lists.

Company logos

HubSpot fills the company logo automatically from its domain, there's no API to set it, so Hunch relies on HubSpot's own resolution. On real production accounts this happens on its own.

Industry mapping

HubSpot's company industryfield is a fixed list, not free text. Hunch maps your account's industry to the closest valid option and simply omits it if there's no match, so a push never fails on an industry mismatch.
