Integrations

Salesforce

Push signal-qualified accounts into Salesforce as Account records, deduped by domain, with their Hunch score and signal context attached.

What it does

  • Creates or updates a Salesforce Account for any Hunch account.
  • Dedupes by website domain, an existing Account is updated, never duplicated.
  • Maps firmographics, name, website, industry, employee count, billing city and country.
  • Writes the signal into custom Hunch Score and Hunch Signal fields.

Connecting

In Settings → Integrations, click Connect Salesforce and choose your environment:

  • Production, the normal choice, signs in through login.salesforce.com.
  • Sandbox, for test orgs, signs in through test.salesforce.com.
  • Custom domain, if your company signs in through its own My Domain, e.g. acme.my.salesforce.com.

Authorize in Salesforce and you're done. Hunch stores the connection for your workspace and refreshes access automatically.

Sending accounts

  • Single, open an account and click Send to CRM.
  • Bulk, select accounts in the list and use Send to CRM in the selection bar.

If both HubSpot and Salesforce are connected, a push goes to both and the result reports each separately.

The Hunch fields

On first push, Hunch creates two custom fields on the Account object:

  • Hunch Score (Hunch_Score__c), a number you can sort and filter list views by.
  • Hunch Signal (Hunch_Signal__c), the headline and “why now” narrative.
Salesforce doesn't show new fields on the record page automatically. An admin should add them in Setup → Object Manager → Account → Page Layouts(or the Lightning record page). If your org restricts creating fields via the API, Hunch appends the signal context to the Account's Description field instead — nothing fails.

Industry mapping

Salesforce's Account Industryfield is a picklist. Hunch maps your account's industry to the closest standard value and simply omits it if there's no match, so a push never fails on an industry mismatch.
